A very surprising decision has been taken by the software giant Microsoft, to land in the search engine marketing field. This news has shaken the SEO industry. Loren Baker of SearchEngineJournal.com was heard saying that Microsoft offering SEO services is not ethical, which could most likely be right!
Microsoft has realized a lot of potential for growth in the game, and has decided to acquire the SEO Company, The Search Agency; to offer SEO and paid search marketing services to small business owners.
What I feel is that it is a very big step, and could be a very drastic one for the SEO industry as many players aren’t able to offer resources similar to what Microsoft could offer to its clients, and hence the market of today’s top SEO Experts (who offer their SEO services) could be endangered.
